The SX-90 has two Temperature Displays on the LED Display (One for Setting the Temperature and the other Showing the Real Temperature, 3 Programmable Presets for Soldering Iron Temperatures, Sleep Function that will Cool the Soldering Iron Down to 200°C (392°F) when Placed in the Soldering Iron Holder, a Programmable Temperature Calibration Function (± 99°C), Easily switch between Celsius/Fahrenheit on the Display, and a Temperature Kicker Bar located above the LED Display. Lightly tap the Tip/Heating Element Cartridge on the Kicker Bar to Immediately Kick the Temperature up 72°C (162°F) for 15 seconds when Needed!

This unit Features a PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) Technology Program built into it which is commonly referred to as Magic Temperature Compensation Technology. This program cycles every 20 milliseconds to detect the actual temperature of the soldering iron's heating element/soldering tip and quickly corrects it with a rapid return to the correct set temperature. This Magic Temperature Compensation Technology also helps keep the soldering iron at a constant temperature no matter what type of job you are working on. This unit also has a Self Test Function with Full Intelligence on Over-Temps, Short Circuits, and Overloads.

Included with the X-Tronic SX-90 is the Main 85 Watt Power Unit with a Very Comfortable Ergonomic Grip Soldering Iron, 3 Varying Styles of C210 Compatible Cartridges, a Quick-Change Cartridge Remover & Silicone Cartridge Holder, a Brass Sponge Soldering Tip Cleaner (located Inside the Soldering Iron Holder), a Wet Sponge, a Heat Resistant Non-Slip Silicone Base & Tool/Parts Holder, a Roll of Desoldering Wick, a Solder Sucker/Desoldering Pump, a Stainless Steel Pair of Pinpoint Tweezers, a 50 Gram Roll of Solder, and an Anti-Static Grounding Alligator Clip (all shown in the 1st photo above).

We used Highly Visible Blue LED's for the Display Screen on our SX-90 (shown in the 2nd photo above). You will be Pleasantly Surprised how Easy it is to read the Numbers and Symbols on the Display. You will also want to notice the 3 Temperature Presets & and the Temperature Up & Down Buttons Under the LED Display.

The 3rd Photo above shows the Cartridge Lightly Tapping the Temperature Kicker Bar. When this happens the Temperature of the Soldering Iron will Instantly Increase 72°C (162°F) for 15 Seconds when Needed! This Feature will Save you the Hassle of needing to Manually adjust the Temperature when you Need a Quick Burst of Heat.

A 100% Silicone Main Unit & Tool/Parts Holder is also included with this unit (shown being used in the 1st photo above) This photo shows how the Heat Resistant Silicone Mat can be used to organize some of the small tools and parts from the PCB that is being worked on. The Main Unit of the SX-90 also comes with Non-Slip Rubber Feet, meaning that the Unit can be placed on a workbench without the Silicone Mat, allowing it to become a dedicated Tool/Parts Holder.

The On/Off Switch and Receptacles for the Power Plug, Grounding Wire, and Soldering Iron Power Cord are All located on the Back of the Main Power Unit (shown in the 2nd photo above). We might mention that you are Really Going to Like the Soldering Iron Cord plugged into the back of this unit. That means you will Not have Any Cords coming out of the Front of the unit that will be in your way when you are working on a project!

As mentioned above, the Plug In for the Soldering Iron is located at the Back of the Power Unit and we did this so the Soldering Iron Cord would not be in your way while you were working. Due to this improvement we have included an attachable extension that will hold your soldering iron cord above the unit to keep it out of your way when you are working (shown in the 3rd photo above). You will absolutely Love this Feature!

Pictured in the 1st Photo above is the 85 Watt Ergonomic Precision Micro Soldering Iron that is Compatible with Any JBC C210 Cartridge. The Temperature Range of the Soldering Iron is 200°C - 500°C (392°F - 932°F) with an Extremely Fast 3 Second Warm Up to 300°C/572°F and a Temperature Stability of ±1.8°F/1.0°C.

Shown in the 2nd Photo above are the 3 X-Tronic C210 Cartridges that come included with the SX-90. This advanced soldering technology combines the tip and heating element into one cartridge, meaning there's no need to worry about changing a heating element ever again. The X-Tronic C210 Cartridges come in 3 Distinct Styles. The Bent Conical (XTR-SC-SI), the Straight Conical (XTR-SC-I), and the Knife (XTR-SC-K).

The 3rd Picture shows the Quick-Change Cartridge Remover and Silicone Cartridge Holder. With the Quick-Change Cartridge Remover there's no need to wait for the Cartridge to fully cool before changing it. Simply use the Quick-Change Remover, and then choose the next Cartridge that is needed from the Silicone Holder.

The 1st Photo above shows the Brass Sponge that is located inside the soldering iron holder. In the photo, the Arrow shows you where you can slide your Soldering Iron in and out of the hole in the Silicone Insert to clean your soldering tip. Also included is a Wet Sponge, which is Conveniently Located just below on the Soldering Iron Holder.

Although the X-Tronic SX-90 is ESD Safe, for further protection of the PCB you might be working on we have included an Anti-Static Grounding Alligator Clip (shown in the 2nd photo above). An Anti-Static Grounding Wire is a Safety Device used to channel Static Electricity to a Proper Ground while working on sensitive computer boards, mobile phone boards, etc. or any PCB. Just plug it into the back of the soldering station and Clip it to the PCB you are working on.

The 3rd photo shows the included 50 gram Roll of 60-40 Tin Lead Rosin Core Solder Wire. This Roll of Solder has a low melting point, making it very easy to work with.

There is also a Solder Sucker/Desoldering Pump included with this Complete Package (shown in the 1st photo above). This Tool has a Good Bit of Suction and its Simple Design allows Easy One Handed Use with its Compact and Light Weight Design.

The 2nd photo above shows the Precision Tweezers that also comes with this Unit. These Pinpoint Tweezers are made of Stainless Steel and are Anti-Static with a Non-Magnetic Baked on Paint used on the Surface, which is Resistant to most Acids and other Corrosive Substances.

We have also included a Roll of X-Tronic Wick for removing molten solder quickly and easily. The Width is 2.0mm and the Length is 1.5 meters. As you all know, this will come in Handy on most all of your soldering jobs.
